This Artwork illustrates the flow of the universe within. The meditating person in the center represents yourself. How you are experiencing the energy of the universe, passing through your body in a torus shape. The structure of the Artwork is the Mandelbrot Fractal. Bernoit Mandelbrot discovered this shape while studying fractals. The Mandelbrot fractal is an infinite, in itself repeating system.
I created the artwork originally on A4 Paper. First I made a sketch with pencils. After that I used a black fineliner to draw all the outlines, and last I coloured it using stabilo pens. For this animation, I had to redraw the artowrk on my Ipad using Photoshop. Afterwards I animated the single elements to have everything moving and flowing through the center.
